This academic year, like all schools and school-based programs, our afterschool program has had to deal with unprecedented challenges, yet it continues to make a difference in students’ lives. The academic and social-emotional support and resources that the afterschool staff provides are helping to alleviate the feeling of isolation and anxiety that many students are experiencing.
