Prefects are nominated by teachers based on their consistently outstanding academic performance, exemplary conduct, and demonstration of our core values.
In addition to being role models, Prefects are instrumental in helping to maintain our school culture. They have mentors who help them to develop their leadership skills, including team building, interpersonal, problem-solving, time management, and motivational skills.
In addition to developing leadership skills, prefects make significant contributions to all areas of our school community, including student life, admissions, community service, and the overall quality of the RELCII experience. They have many opportunities, beyond the curriculum, to develop as well-rounded individuals who value and respect diversity, with the transferable skills that are invaluable for successful academic and career success.
